BIOGRAPHY

Haifa. Wehbe. The International Diva. can’t simply be identified better than by stating one true thing. She is a legend in the making.

With her striking charisma, breathtaking charm and stunning beauty, Haïfa took the world by storm becoming one of the most prominent artists in the Middle East and beyond.

As a young girl in her teens, Haïfa always dreamed of a career as an entertainer, and knew that one day she would be famous. However, she could not have anticipated how colossal her stardom would become.

She first embarked into the scene as a runner up for Miss Lebanon in 1996, then went on to launch her modeling career. Her striking beauty and hypnotic looks quickly landed her to become the top supermodel of the Arab world gracing her pictures over a 1000 covers at that time.

By the end of 2002, Haifa had kept her next big venture yet to be disclosed, to launch her singing career. She released her debut single “Agoul Ahwak” raising havoc and causing a media frenzy in both the music and media scenes. Her musical persona that presented a cute, modern yet playful style created a new mainstream in the Arabic music and for the first time , the middle east had it’s very own unique “Diva”. Her debut album “Howa El Zaman” received a lot of praises yet a lot of controversy and was a hit success with fans all over. One of the highlights of this project was Haifa’s club number “Mar Sar” being chosen by Ministry Of Sound to be included in the 2002 Top 50 Global Dance tracks compilation, taking Haifa’s music overseas and getting airplay in clubs all over Europe and beyond.

By the summer of 2005, Haifa was ready to sustain her musical career with a smash hit album that took her 2 years of preparing. “Badi Eesh” was the outcome of Haifa spreading her talent even more in terms of the music that became entitled to her. Pop/Dance music with eastern flavors. The first single off the album, the ever famous “Ana Haifa” took the airwaves by storm causing a frenzy to the Arab newly crowned Madonna. With a string of hits like “Ya Hayat Albi”, “Fakerni” , “Ragab”, “ Makhadtesh Bali”, and the self title track “Badi Eesh”, it was obvious by now that Haifa became one of the power player artists of the middle east, and one to look out for immensely.

With her artistic and beauty achievements, Haifa remained true to herself and her own beliefs, that one should give back and dedicate in return for all the blessings. Her charity projects and contributions has taken a major priority in her agenda and through various prestigious outlets like , her being a good well ambassador to the Ruban Rouge Foundation spreading awareness against Aids, and a spokesperson to the BBC to encourage youth in learning English language among many other charity activities that Haifa strives through to make a difference in people’s lives.

Haifa is currently gearing up for the release of her most anticipated album to date, her third album titled “Ser Ghareeb” which concretes the labor of 3 years of hard work. With this project, Haifa decided to take her talent to the next level being the executive producer of the entire album, taking full control creatively into making her musical vision a reality. On this record, Haifa explores her musical persona through an eclectic diversity of music genres that is reflected through catchy new lyrics with new concepts and cutting edge beats. The first single off the album “Msh Adra Astana” already reached the top of the charts along with it’s controversial video that made video history. The project soon to see the light will create a new artistic challenge for Haifa as an artist and a musical icon.

In a world of divas and superstars, there is only one Haifa. And her best is yet to come.
